A heritage event for a modern brand

A heritage event for a modern brand

THE CHALLENGE

To provide a backdrop for a classic event hosting one of the rarest collections of Peugeot Motorcars ever assembled in the UK. Managing a communication programme in multiple languages and providing seamless event logistics and production to create a day to remember on a budget created primarily from donations.

THE SOLUTION

A concise communication campaign was launched in multiple languages and a clear registration portal was created to ensure ease of use for customers. The team worked with the selected venue hosting the event to source local produce and providers to ensure the Best of British was on offer all weekend which guests could try and buy in our British Market Style Welcome Reception.

THE RESULT

120 historic PEUGEOTS gather in southern England for a weekend of driving through the best of British Countryside. Drivers were kept "fuelled" using quality local produce served at a variety of check points. The cars all belonged to members of l'Aventure PEUGEOT, the Brand's heritage arm with a fabulous museum in Sochaux near Mulhouse, France. As well as Britain, owners and vehicles came from France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Italy.

After gathering at the Macdonald Botley Park Hotel, Southampton on Friday June 20, owners enjoyed chatting about, showing and sharing the huge variety of cars in the afternoon sun whilst enjoying a very traditional British afternoon tea.

The owners reveal their passion for PEUGEOT by keeping old cars alive and Xavier PEUGEOT declares the value of heritage for today's cars by hosting a dinner at a classic British country retreat hotel.

The following day, they drove through the scenic New Forest to the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu. Here they displayed their cars to the general public whilst enjoying the varied exhibits on offer followed by a picnic in the grounds of the museum.

THE FEEDBACK

"It was fantastic bringing together so many people who have such a vast knowledge of the product".
